For me, it was 9 months between GP referral and Screening assessment but I am supposedly not showing the Autistic behaviours so I will go no further with the NHS.
Private was about a month yet again intially only part identified behaviours which NHS did not contemplate fully. Now waiting for GP referral for a second assessment.
I sympathise with how frustrating the NHS waiting and communicating with GP process are. When I first seemed a diagnosis, my information somehow got lost in the process due to admin error, and had to start the entire thing all over again. It's admirable to see that you keep persisting with the assessment process. I hope you will have a more positive experience this time. And don't stress out too much, since there are many people on this forum who share your experiences.
