Podcasts

My new interest is Podcasts. Ever since I worked out how to download an MP3 to my phone I have become slightly obsessed. Some of my favourites are:

Adam Buxton's Podcast. Interviews, mostly with Comedians but also other interesting people such as Brian Eno and Johnny Marr.

Athletico Mince. Bob Mortimer's very silly podcast which is supposed to be about Football but mostly isn't.

NewYorker. Short stories read by authors such as Ian McEwan and David Sedaris.

UbuDub. The Podcast of the band Pere Ubu. Features an interview with singer David Thomas and song snippets from the new record

  • Today I listened to the Autastic Podcast because I mistakenly assumed that it would be entertaining and that it would be presented by Autistic people. I was wrong on both counts. There was 20 minutes of boring chat between two very dull men. I persevered with it and eventually one of them said "oh, by the way, I have an autistic brother and he has an autistic son". I then switched off and deleted the podcast.

  • Does anyone else on here like Podcasts, or is it just me?   Disappointed
