I am not an asperger sufferer, but a person with aspergers (well.. currently about to kick off the diagnostic process). I can totally relate to you feeling more secure and less edgy with other spectrum-ites
Hello Elephant in the room (cool name btw)
i wrote sufferer without thinking. i apologise. I do however Suffer from cystic fibrosis hehehe
44 miles is fine i didnt want anyone 100+ miles asking to be friends as its too far.
:-) can we get to know each other. i know that is forward but i simply mean can we learn to become friends.
My age is 44 and I live miles away ... not sure if I am an Indian or African Elephant??
So, is there any particular reason for posting or anything making you feel particularly isolated or glum?

Hi James. I’m much older and in London, but saying Hi! My whole family is into steam trains. GWR in Cheltenham, the one near you and Talyllyn amongst others. The one out of Cheltenham is used to film Father Brown. I go there a lot. Welcome to the site.
I used to volunteer at the gloucestershire warwickshire railway :-) i love it. :-) and i love father brown haha :-) small world
My 90 year old mother supports the GWR! Small world indeed!! We could never work out why Warwickshire though? Is it so they can use GWR logo’d items? (As in Great Western Railway)
warwickshire as it originally went to the stratford upon avon racecourse. it was a Diversionary route to cheltenham st James station. :-) -) can we become friends :-)
I did 10 years in the On train catering section :-) (buffet couner)
Oh of course! I forgot Stratford upon Avon is Warwickshire. You probably served us a coffee at some point. Over time we can discuss things here and get to know each other, but I’m nearly a pensioner myself! It’s good to be able to talk about various interests though. There’s plenty into computers and technology too.
age is a number. that happens to clock up every year like mileage. Mileage can have no bearing on looks or abilities. :-) its crazy
