Does anyone else suffer from my problems?
Where I mishear or misread something.
The latest incident is a BBC website article, where I initially read.
Call to exclude pupils with ASD.
It actually read.
Call to test excluded pupils for ADHD.
Very different!
I often watch DVDs with subtitles. And when I'm unsure of what was said or written I rewind and listen/read again. And the second time round it's different.
My latest misreading was a few minutes ago.
I was reading a BBC article about the increase in the cases of measles.
And how the majority of cases were in unvaccinated chickens.
On my second reading the chickens turned into children.
Oh dear. That made me chuckle don't know why. It's really bad that measles is on the increase again we were recently affected by another parents decision not to vaccinate their child who then got measles and sat in a doctors waiting room exposing my baby who was 10 weeks old at the time to the virus. Meaning he had to have multiple injections to protect him as he was to young to just be given the vaccinations
