Colchester information please

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone lives in the Colchester or North Essex area and has any advice about what help children with Autism get in mainstream school.

We are moving there in December and are a bit nervous about this as my 6 year old son has high functioning autism?

Also any other info of parent groups etc would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your reply, will take a look at Facebookpage.
We had to put move on hold but still planning to move to the town area in the future.
Glad you get good help at your sons school, does he get help from the specialist teacher service, if so is it any good?

Hello,
there is an awareness group on Facebook for Colchester, 'autism awareness in Colchester'. where abouts are you moving to?
My little boy has HFA also, his school have been absolutely fantastic! Thank goodness! Hope your move went well
