There are conspiracies - the machinations of a political party, in and out of power, the deliberations of the managing boards of banks, multinationals and tin pot businesses - but those conspiracies are much the same everywhere, because people are much the same everywhere.  Not only that, but they pretty much always have been.

So people are weak or demoralized and will not hold their masters accountable, I honestly expected city bankers to receive frontier justice which they fully deserve.

There was no moral purpose, surely, behind the Roman invasion of Britain or, for that matter, behind Magna Carta.  

Why should we sit as consumers dependent on *** we really don't need and can't afford- consider we have a population explosion that has no purpose other than to consume.

The democracy whose principles you seem to value enfranchised only people of property, and then only men, until less than 100 years ago, whilst the women who strove so valiantly for the vote strove for it principally for the middle and upper classes to which they belonged.  It must have come as a bit of a nasty surprise to some when they discovered their tweenies and parlourmaids wanted a few minutes extra time off their 16 hour shifts to go trotting off to the polls.

If and only if the population is intelligence enough will they realize how badly they are treated- maybe a Munich beer hall push offering hope is the way to get people motivated

Perception modification has become more sophisticated as the political and wealth stakes have become higher and technology more advanced, but it has always been there.  The concept that the poor, for instance, are poor because of their own fecklessness and idleness seems to exist everywhere and to have existed pretty much through all time.  Ditto the concept that disability or differentness of almost any kind are judgments of God or Nature, and that the majority is always right.

Rioting and strikes are not the way forward, but disengaging with society then requires resource consuming state efforts, their are only approx 1000 prison places and if everyone acted in solidarity they would beat the system purely on resources expenditure.

It is reprehensible that poverty remains a prison for so many.  It was for me for a great many years and only now have I, temporarily, escaped it.  I say temporarily because my current home is a 'tied' home and when my partner and I reach retirement age we face a real risk of homelessness.

A home should be a right without fear or loss

Just like you, I think, I hate the trash culture of modern times (though it is not exclusive to modern times) and I know there are better reasons to live, better things to enjoy and better things in which to find satisfaction than those things most people choose today.

Lets face it a lot of adults are not that bright, perception is only as far as their insignificant lives, maybe a midlife crisis is when you realize just how screwed you really are?

Could history not teach us that the most powerful currency is hope, in an obtainable way it may be possible to change society.

Hitler was a monster, but he sold hope to the masses. He mocked their stupidity and realized perception was everything.

A viral internet ad could do the same!
