    There is an online petition here:

    https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/231406

    It is close to 10,000 signatures at which point the government will respond.

    Unless you are in this situation it is difficult to believe that such appalling abuse is going on. 

    And if you are in this situation you are overwhelmed by fighting for your rights, or those of your loved one. 

    Those who speak out risk becoming the target of abuse, with vicious attacks on their reputations.

    This, tragically, is the story of institutional abuse. 

    People are outraged at newspaper stories.

    But then they do nothing at all.
