  • Nice one, Giddy; mine's a pint of Guinness, mate! YumLaughing

I know that good feeling, though. I must have scared the hell out of all the people in the waiting room when I walked out of finally winning my PIP appeal at my second tribunal. I'm sure they all thought that I'd lost really badly, because I just couldn't stop crying and went completely mute (the court usher must be used to it, she had pocketfuls of hankies at the ready!)

  • guiness and black mmmmm that's good you won trog chalk a win to the downtrodden of society im putting mine into one of those high interest saving things for just in case and so i can leave my son something when im dead and gone

  • A fair chunk of mine will be going on some counselling, social outings, and maybe a mentor if I can get one. I found an autism service provider ages ago, and they're really nice people who helped me a bit even though they weren't officially supposed to. However, social services have refused to help with this at all, even though what the autism provider does is exactly the things listed as suggestions at the end of my diagnosis report. It's been four years now since my assessment; so sod it, I'm just going to pay as a privately funded user out of my PIP arrears.

I'll keep a bit back as a slush fund for emergencies, and as a treat will probably get a new laptop and computer chair. Well, even that's not really a treat, my current laptop's nearly 10 years old and getting a bit dicky, and I wouldn't want to be without the forums if it goes belly up!

  • the hold up to uni credit to possibly 2020 is good but i really think they're trying to push us towards victorian era with no benefits no nhs and workhouses for the poor infirm and mentally ill but you can bet there will still be generous taxpayer funded liefstyles for the scum at the top i so hope that JC gets in next election
