How is your Local Authority delivering individual budgets? What are your experiences?

  • Apart from asking the NAS moderators for permission first, no professional researcher would ask for such a thing on a sensitive website, so when these requests arise they are NOT from responsible researchers.

    Data collected in this way may compromise the statistical validity of the research. But more importantly there are ethical considerations, particularly the proper disposal of the data collected and the protection of the subjects' confidentiality. Which must be given in the request.

    I cannot fathom that the Institute of Education in London would sanction such irresponsibility if they knew.

    It is very little different from being phoned by scammers or emailed by scammers asking for your bank details. A researcher who does this is not responsible or safe.
