Hello,
Does anyone else go running? I find it an amazing way to relax and reduce anxiety.I am lucky enough to have lots of places to go off road so its easier on the kness and you don't see many people.....
i have been running and i intend to do it again. i am just too lazy and also i need to focus on my final year project and i somehow cannot make myself going out unless it is absolutely necessary for something like buying food or travelling somewhere. i go to check my plants in garden though so i am not a complete couch potato.
i might be one of those that are genetically not designed to develop physical fitness with training (watched a documentary about that). i consider myself as a mezomorph so there should not be too many obstacles to do this kind of exercise, but for some reason i would prefer weights. and i will do that soon.
meanwhile i appreciate the feeling after running but while i am running, i do not enjoy it that much. i would prefer walk. only after a few days of inactivity, when i put on a pair of comfortable trainers and i walk on the street (to the shop or post office) sometimes i feel light and feel prompted for brisk walk or even slow running. but soon i have difficulties with breathing and i am done. only rarely i experienced jogging sessions that i could go on and on... not sure whether that was after the extra caffeine, or repleting the glycogen stores and having extra sugary drink shortly before the running session... i defo appreciate either walking or weights more than running for longer than 5-10 minutes.
