Computers

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this but here goes...

I am researching computers for young adults with autism and learning disabilities. Does anyone have suggestions for what would be suitable, what kind of software I might need to get, any useful companies or websites....just anything really.

Any help you can offer me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  • If you decide to go the tablet route, the Elektor magazine has recently run a project on interfacing tablets to the outside world to allow objective measurement, control etc.

PIC microcontrollers offer a simple way of automating stand alone applications, you are welcome to contact me if you want any info, I do have a 60 module course ready for six year old's and above that leads to ROBOTIC's, something I am told that might be applicable here. I have a very rough workshop notebook at magics-notebook.com that covers the basics.

I have just begun to look at producing a cheap eye tracker, that would work with a laptop.

You could be the one !.
