My son, who is 6, was only diagnosed on Tuesday. He is bright and school say they never witness any traits (he has officially been diagnosed as ASD). I was just wondering what happens now? Do we have a label and that is that? I got given a booklet saying you can claim some benefits, but I’ve never done any of that kind of thing before. They also told me to book onto a workshop. Can anyone shred any light on the situation for me please. Thanks in advance.
