The very fact there are now four separate threads pointing out variouse issues with  this forum is proof enough things need looking into as to just what kind of service is being offered,?

Yes! Finally, I saw it show as "a few seconds ago from Lone Warrior", as I was watching for it! Thank You for your cooperation, there, Sir. I took a picture at the time (a couple of minutes ago), and so Thank You again for that. I may do something with it yet, it being late and all there is another thing...

I cannot be as quick with posting pictures as yourself, I think: I must take pictures from my device, laptop them, shrink, flatten, etc. them, then put them back onto this device (EReader). That takes time. A lot of it...

Thus, again I write Thanks, and say, if you are tired or whatever *just now* then feel free to quit for now. I am uncertain of what I may (be able to) do next, and so do not wait for it too much.

I do not stay on long, frustrating, yes, even for myself. I cannot say much more, just here and now, yet Thank You again.

I also ask if YOU can see it? It is called something like "Disappearing Posts???" with question marks.

Yet if you are game - despite it being late and myself tiring - would you care to post something upon WebPMs new Thread? I want to know if I can see it then and edit the title maybe (I shall write EDIT) if I do...?

To Webster... Please check the HOURS parts stated in the Pictures I Posted: "11 Hours Ago", in the History, yet between 9, 10, 12 Hours Ago, in the Recent Threads. Even as I Post this, I still do not see it listed in the Recent Posts part. 

For this reason, I am still Posting *here*. Until someone else - Not WebPM - posts into that other Thread, I cannot see it and I wait to see if someone else makes it appear thay way rather than myself. I also agree with Mr. LoneWarrior saying that doing this was a bit of a confusion. (I suppose doing what was done is good, but, well, "sudden change" and Autiism and all...)

So this thread is an attempt too highlight various issues with the NAS forum.

As pointed out by Disallowed Cynosure there was a main thread for ANY issues with using the forum, NAS did not seem to want to be pro active and start a new thread so it was left up to one of us to do it,,,,,despite being requested variouse times.

 So move different comments about, put them into various new areas, it may just add confusion as each one may not sit well out of context with  replies that were amongst them originally.

To California: This is how it was, around 4 Months ago. Then the Load Next Previous business was introduced, which I -perhaps the only one?! - happen to like. BUT - then Replies/Posts Disappearing began to occur, along with many other discrepancies. Which was why I began this Thread. Some are sorted, some not as yet.

To WebPM, mainly: The single button suggested is a good idea, of course. And I myself keep suggesting over and over... "To Bottom" and "To Top" buttons...

So updates and fixes have been applied this morning 20:03:2018, 

I have noticed despite checking my settings and all boxes are checked for receiving alerts be they at the top of screen or email .

I am now getting alerts at the top but opening them via that route invariably leads to issues as not all replies are always visible, even when opening embedded sections.

Also I have had no email alerts since 28:02:2018.

One more thing new is if I am NOT logged in I cannot see the green lights telling if someone is online or not?

it was always possible before the updates.

Also I am confused as to just were to post my comments as WebPM has moved things around, it may be justified but for me I struggle to understand. This was started to replace the very old long general problems with the forum post, zThank you Disallowed Cynisure very much.

Not convinced things are much better, different maybe, but still unstable. Oh and a picture I posted showing my aspie chart score did vanish after the update to stop it happening. 

For the avoidance of confusion, I was saying that email notifications could wrongly be identified by your email provider as spam, and therefore the notifications would end up in spam/junk/whatever in your email. There is no spam folder in this forum.

I didn't know there was a spam folder!

As I think you found, the thread is a couple of pages down in the recent posts list on the Community home page. It doesn't seem to reflect the date of my additional messages of yesterday in the thread. I actually posted those before adding some more messages from this thread. I did that because they contained my summary of what I believe is happening. That seemed to change the latest message date to reflect the messages taken from this thread, which were several days old. So, the new thread is wrongly a few days back in the history.

I agree with your expectation that, as soon as someone now posts something new to the discussion in that thread, it will sort itself out and come back to the top of the list.

This behaviour of the system doesn't seem right, and I flagged it to the software developers yesterday. However, it's a fairly rare circumstance. I hope you agree that moving the discussion of disappearing/missing messages to a separate thread will make it more accessible to those affected.

FYI  - ...I do not work for NAS, and yet this happens. See WebPMs last reply, here. I leave upon Sunday and come back and see this. I do not exactly disapprove, yet here is one of my troubles with this... I as yet cannot see this "New Thread" Which I myself supposedly created!! :

However, it is present in the Home Page's History. Thusly:

The update to resolve the image issue is due to be applied early tomorrow (20 March 2018). Again, it should prevent further images disappearing, but it will not recover any that have been lost to date. If you're able to edit your own messages and reinstate the images, others may appreciate that.
