Nice to hear from you.
I was getting worried people might desert the site if it was down any longer.
From "DC" to WebPM... Thank you for the work that you do - and but for Mr. Robert123 starting this Thread, I had thought that my Device/Account had been "Hacked" in some manner... I dare not Log On much just now, and for about 2 days and even now, it is still going weird for me.
To access this Forum, I went through the NAS site, and got this message:
An Error Ocurred Authenticating Your Request
An unexpected error prevented your requested action from completing. The error has been logged for the administrator to review.
...(note the spelling mistake?), but when I did - and right now still do - a WWW search, the "related searches" section comes up with some foreign language instead. This is what worries me... and has anyone else seen it...?
That has been seen my many of our supporters and site visitors. It should clear in the coming hours, but it will happen for different people at different times - which is what I was trying to say in my previous message. I'm sorry that, even though we have ensured that a fix is in place, the way that that takes effect for each of you is determined by the way that the Internet works. There is not much that we, nor anyone else for that matter, can do to influence that.
If it's available to you, you can try a different Internet connection (e.g. home wi-fi, mobile/3G). As I mentioned, restarting your PC, your device or even just your browser might help in some cases.
Again, I am sorry for the problems that this has caused.
The site had another glitch a few moments ago, but rather than being asked asked if I was the domain name owner, I got a browser notification that a connection to the server at www.autism.org.uk. could not be established. The same happened yesterday, at about 08:45, when the site went down or off-line.
I apologise for what have been some quite serious problems affecting access to our sites over the last day. These were not connected with any deployment, but resulted from technical issues outside our direct control. Obviously we are following up to avoid any repetition.
It may take longer for some site visitors to regain access than for others. The reasons for that are related to fundamentals of how the Internet works. If you can access some of our sites and not others, restarting your computer or device may help, but I cannot guarantee this.
Again our apologies for the problems.
Regards
