Church

Hi.

I know this subject will not be for everyone so i hope it's not preachy in any way or form.

I've started going to church. I find it comforting and acceptance of my disabilities there.

I am getting baptised next month. Along with some of my nieces and nephews.

I hope to find peace and happiness by getting involved with my faith and more.

I hope nobody laughs at me.

Anne.

  • Why would we laugh? You didn't diss anybody and it's not really any of our business. If somebody laughs, tell them, every time they laugh adds five minutes of health to their life expectancy. Tongue Out

Religious services are nicely structured and I know people can find comfort in that. It also automatically makes you part of a group with (hopefully) shared values. I stopped going because the priest and many members were mega uninspiring. But as long as yours has something valuable to say, why not listen.
