Newbie

Hi everyone,

I have 3 children, 2 of whom have special needs and are currently living at home.

My oldest daughter 27 has moderate learning disabilities. My son 25 has severe learning disabilities and epilepsy and was also diagnosed with some form of autism (as we had suspected for a while) back in July of last year. We have finally, 7 months later, received a follow up appointment to see a psychologist!

I have found that as they have got older and fallen into the adult category( which lets face it is a BIG age range) there seems to be less help and support, and we sometimes feel that we are abandoned and left to get on with things. Not having a social worker doesnt help as we have no firsthand port of call.

I also have a 20 year old daughter who is currently away at university!
