i was 14 when i got epilepsy and i,m the only one in my family ever to have got it i,m 41 now but i,m one of 9 kids and i,m the only one to have developed epilepsy but you hear of children with autism who have epilepsy thats why i wondered wethe my little girl had more of a chance of getting it xxxx

With my family, Autism and Epilepsy are both genetic. I have (or have had, no-one can say now) epilepsy. But, I'm the only one who developed it as a child. The others developed it as an adult.

Having Autism doesn't mean someone will have epilepsy. It depends on why a parent has epilepsy as to whether their child will develop it.
