Can aspergers be bilingual?

I have a son with aspergers. Does anyone have any experience on raising aspergers in a bilingual household? His first language is English but he is in Greek school and I worry how this will affect his education if he cannot pick up a second language.

  • I think every person is different. I have a good friend with aspergers who speaks 4 languages fluently one of which is Russian! I also know asperger children who are fantastic at art. My son isn't good at art or english but is fairly amazing at maths. I don't think that there is a set of rules for any child unfortunately.
