Home Making

Today I made a wildlife home, hopefully a hedgehog will use it, but I don't really mind who lives there. I pulled out all my tomato plants and then the brambles and then started pruning the elder tree as the brambles were all caught up in it and thought 'what shall I do with all these twigs and branches?' So I've cut them up and piled them up in a heap behind the bin, so it's protected on 3 sides and has a tunnel of grasses and hebes to use as garden.

Not only has it made me feel better being outside and gardening, but to make a home too. Tomorrow or Tuesday I will make some green tomato ketchup from all the unripe tomatoes I picked.

This sounds like a wonderful idea - Being in nature can do wonders for our health and wellbeing; I certainly hope that your garden does feel welcoming to a hedgehog visitor or two.

I hope that your ketchup making goes well - It'd be nice to hear how this went for you.

    Enjoy your time outside.

    Take care - Zac Mod.
