Attempting to get Diagnosed with A lot.

So, i was Diagnosed by the Primary Mental Health service With Savior Depression and savior Anxiety. Yet it seams really Difficult to get even Remotely close to even getting diagnoses with OCD, ADHD and also Autism. Is this just me? or has anyone else had the same Troubles at all?

Just wondering as i have been struggling with mental health ever since i was 12 back then, and im 22 now. This is the first time actually trying to attempt to get any Diagnoses for any of the Mental health stuff that i have been struggling with, Just curios if its just me struggling to get any of these diagnoses stuff delt with and done or if anyone else has had the same problems as me.

    Yeah the wait time for ADHD is like Insane its i think when i looked at it 3 Years ago it was a 5 year waiting List but now its around the 8 year waiting time for it and the Cross between OCD and Autism is correct as OCD has Pretty Much the same as Autism Just a few Different Traits to add to that

    I feal that, I have been told by a few work Managers, Work Employees, and my Whole family have told me i have Autism Trait. it made me think that the only way and Best way would be to Get diagnosed but its just been a Struggle to have my Local GP, and actually Have them Listen to me as it just feels like they don't ever listen.  

  • It's not only you. I've been diagnosed and misdiagnosed multiple times over years. Depression is for me a standard diagnosis by default. I receive this diagnosis after 5 minutes conversation with a specialist. Only recently (2 years ago) someone wanted to listen to me and was interested enough to recognise autistic traits in me. 

  • I think ocd can have cross over with autism and ADHD and whilst ADHD csn cross over with autism there's more cost definition woth these two so it's wait times that mean people often have a long wait or get denied
