Gggrrr, stressed out already and the days hardly started

I need a map to find a friends new place as I'm giving him a lift to the hospital, simples you might think, but no, I get a pin in a map and a load of others pointing to every other place that might be of interest to someone somewhere, but no actual directions or awareness of how to get places. It's assumed that you have a sat nav, only sat nav's often can't cope with Welsh and have some kind of chip fart.

Why can't I just have an ordinary map without having to use AI to help me find one? I'm good at memorising routes and often don't need to be told twice, I think I'm going to have to get some old paper road maps, if they still exist.

  • I totally understand how you feel about directions. I have to use Google Maps just to walk somewhere new. I cant follow verbal directions at all

BTW I Just wanted to say I absolutely love the phrase chip fart, I know you meant a microchip but my brain just creates and image of an oven chip farting and it made me chuckle
