Professional support for autistic adult

I’ve always had significant difficulty making friends and interacting with people since I was a child.

Now that I started my first job as a postdoctoral researcher, I’m really struggling as scientific research relies on collaborating, networking and so many unspoken rules; despite the common belief that scientific research provides the ideal environment for autistics. 

My boss wants to get rid of me abd I don’t seem to be making the network I’m making despite going to so many conferences. Everyone shys away from me at my posters etc.

is there any professional support I can access to help advance my career in academic research which is what I truly enjoy?
