Hi soboiceland,
I am very sorry if this has happened to you. That must be very upsetting.
The National Autistic Society does not currently operate a crisis or emergency service. If you’re finding it hard to cope or have thoughts of harming yourself, please seek help. If you feel you [or anyone else] is at risk of immediate harm, dial 999 or contact one of the mental health crisis lines listed on our Urgent Help Page: https://www.autism.org.uk/what-we-do/help-and-support/urgent-help.
If it’s not an emergency but you’re still struggling, speaking to a health professional can help. If your GP is closed, you can call 111 for NHS support. In England, Wales and Scotland, you can now choose option 2 to speak directly with mental health professionals: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/urgent-and-emergency-care-services/when-to-use-111/.
Other free, confidential support includes:

HI, I found a free PDF book by Dr Megan Anna Neff PsyD, AuDHD clinical psychologist at her website really helpful, when I am totally overwhelmed by these thoughts.

It sucks, but some days at least I know its part of my autism and not a personal failing. But even then its very tough to overcome, I know.
Take care.
A couple of years ago, I had an issue after a circumcision procedure that didn’t seem to resolve, as the pain and discomfort lingered for weeks. Because of this, I went back to the private hospital where the operation was done, but they just told me everything looked fine and to keep taking painkillers, assuring me it would be okay.
I did so, but the pain became increasingly unbearable, so I made several trips to my local A&E, only to be told again that everything seemed fine and was sent home. Eventually, after consulting several more caregivers and being told to just get on with it, I became desperate and felt there was nowhere left to turn for help.
I think this clearly shows that you’re treated like any other person, with no consideration for whether there are sensory issues involved, leaving you to simply get on with it.
It did clear up eventually, but I had some dark thoughts at the time and could have used some proper counselling.
