Mr Motivator still going! Older people's fitness vital for mobility.

This is not particularly autistic but does anyone remember Mr Motivator [from Covid times]? Well, he's still going strong, giving fitness classes in care homes.  I've started attending an NHS class designed to improve mobililty for older people and find it very 'motivating.' I was referred after a rotator cuff injury - my fitness had reduced considerably because I found it painful to move. I would really recommend such classes if you are older. These ought to be funded by the NHS because I'm sure they would considerably reduce costs associated with falls, isolation and damaged limbs. What do you think? Should the NHS be more focussed on preventative methods?

  • I definitely remember Mr Rotavator along with The Green Goddess and Rolland Rat! It was the era of ‘Fame’ and leg warmers.

Prevention is often a lot cheaper than cure. I bet you look like a scene from the film ‘Flashdance!  Seriously though well done, a whole room of people must be quite daunting.
