Losing myself

I feel like with the stress of the world and my relationship I have begun to lose myself more and more. I end up struggling, feeling overwhelming anxiety often.

As I lose myself I feel the autistic traits becoming more prominent. I become more isolated and just generally lose motivation. I dont recognise myself and forget just how I used to be. I lost confidence and a sense of humour over time. I have recently been put on antidepressants but they take a while to kick in.

So just wondering for anyone else who has lost themselves and how they used to be - how did you go about rediscovering it?

Parents
  • As a parent of a 19 year old who also is going through the same as you right now. I can only advice please please get help now before it spiralls.

My son is now so isolated and experiencing pyschosis locked up in an A car prison because he needs mental health services to help him.

I DO NOT WANT THIS FOR OTHERS.

just remember she was an experience, she was a life lesson, she was not your end.

She has taught you what a relationship is and just always remember you will meet the one some day who will love, respect and and accept you for you.

Do not let this control you. If you use distractions with things you love like going to the gym, reading ect put all your energy into that and you will feel better.
