Worried about elections

I'm really worried about what will happen if Reform get elected in the Sennedd, they want so many things that will have a huge negative impact on people like me. I'm not sure I'd want to carry on living in Wales if that happened, it was bad enough after Brexit, but I'm not sure I feel safe living anywhere.

  • I would only say that all of them are lying to some extent. None of them will do what they say. All have their snouts in the trough. All say what they think their base want to hear.

Beware those that just attack others without saying what they will do. Knowing what they are against is not the same as knowing what they are for. Look at what they do, not what they say. Beware topics framed in emotive language and pictures, try to find facts, not emotions.

Don't trust one side to tell you what the other side will do. Look up what the other side actually say. Don't trust any single outlet, beware influencers, read different opinions. Check some facts. A lot is published online, ONS data, government figures, budgets, stats, etc.

But mostly, worry about what you can control. Try not to worry about what you cannot.

  • You are missing out glaring points though aren’t you? There so many moving parts and so many different institutions know one can guarantee exactly how it will go.  You have to project and work towards it, I think people have a very simplistic view of politics.  Reform have a conference once a week and say what they want what they stand for and what Th he want to implement.  Will it all get done probably not will it happen exactly how they think, no as human behaviour and interactions don’t happen in a vacuum.  Yet it is much worse when a party have a manifesto get into Government and change all of it.  Sound familiar?
