Grief and loss

Yesterday I attended a peer support group for grief and loss and it's brought up memories and feelings for people, pets etc I've lost over the years. Well I'm still trying to do normal things the feelings are taking over and I don't like it. Any suggestions?

  • I’m still grieving my beloved dog who died some months ago.

I find it better to acknowledge and stay with the grief, let yourself feel it because it is natural.

Time usually heals but it doesn’t mean you forget. In the future, you may come to look back at the good times without feeling the same anguish over your loss. There is no timescale for these stages.
