Feeling drained after PIP assessment

I'd like to start a thread about the minefield otherwise known as a PIP assessment - i thought the whole point is to help people feel better, not worse! #how to trigger people into meltdown by the very thing that is suppose to help  prevent it!

  • The PIP assessment is terrible. Don’t give up though. When I applied they gave me 1 point, with mandatory reconsideration they gave me 2 points…today I had my face to face tribunal. I got 18 points and won. I applied nearly 2 years ago. It takes ages to get to tribunal stage. Stick with it though. Over 70% of cases at tribunal stage win the appeal. If you do win, you’ll get a back pay dated from when you first applied which can be a very substantial amount.
