Wish me luck for thursday

Please, I have to go to the dentist and I don't like dentists, they only people scarier than dentists are hygenists.

I think I may have a abcess in one of my uper teeth or the gap where one was, I have quite bad nerve damage to my teeth and have previously had some nerves removed. This means that I often don't know that anythings wrong until its really bad.

At least this lot are used to dealing with people with multiple allergies, ND and the terrified. I think they should be scared with the prices these private places charge, but there's not other option, there are no NHS dentists taking patients on, so its £125-250 per filling, I dread to think what it would cost if I needed anything more complicated.

The appointments for 10am, thats the middle of the night!

  • Exactly, £620 is a hell of a lot of money,£190 is a lot too, part of it is going to be my xmas present, I guess not having a festering abess is a good present, at least it should last all year and hopefully more.

I've heard that too that dentists can't afford to do NHS work, some will still do children, but they're getting fewer and when you do find an NHS practice you've not idea of how good they'll be and if they will offer the full range of treatments, many don't, anything they can make money from they will only do privately.
