On other forums, there is a thread and all the replies are neatly organised. Take Reddit for example. Threads are very easy to read. Here, the replies are jumbled and in weird order.
Is it just me?

I think the issue is that from the 3rd level of nesting (replies of replies of replies) the replies are not indented anymore, and instead attached to one level up.
Or Reddit, this is different I think. Also, last reply to a level is first (reverse ordered in time).
So the reply ends up above the original. At least on phones. You can see my test below.
Thanks I get it. You have to select' oldest'. It's set to newest by default which is confusing. When I selected 'oldest', Alomond's Test Nest was in order. It wasn't by default.
I think it should be Oldest by default as some people here have mental health issues and it adds to confusion when they try to read threads.

The times it’s useful to have “newest” selected is for very long threads (like 3 Good Things) because it would have to load hundreds of replies to wait to get to the bottom and it wouldn’t work all the time.
So if it’s kept on “newest” just read the replies from top to bottom until it reaches the 3rd indent, then you have to read bottom to top
Yes, I agree. Although for top-level (replies to Post) I like most recent first. But for replies of replies and so on, I prefer oldest first.
