  • Hiya StUrungusPolyp,

Thank you for posting and telling the community what you are going through. Thank you for sharing your experience and we're sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time. It is good that you’ve let us know what’s happening. Many people have similar thoughts, feelings and actions when coping with so much and we hope you’re okay.

If you are unable to cope with the distress or despair, it’s very important to tell someone about your feelings of distress. Call your GP and make an urgent appointment. Your GP can make sure you get appropriate help and support.

The National Autistic Society does not currently operate a crisis or emergency service. We advise you to contact 999 or any of the mental health crisis lines listed on our Urgent Help Page if you are at risk of immediate harm:https://www.autism.org.uk/what-we-do/help-and-support/urgent-help

If you are not at immediate risk of harm, we would encourage you to speak to your GP or another health professional about this if you haven’t done so already. If it’s outside your GP hours call 111 to reach the NHS 111 service. In England, Wales and Scotland there is now an option to speak with mental health professionals by selecting ‘option 2’ when calling NHS 111: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/urgent-and-emergency-care-services/when-to-use-111/

  • I am happy to learn this  thanks for telling me :-)

I hope that now is a good time to say that if so far society has assessed your needs and not resolved them then it feels a huge burden to have to do so on apparently one's own.

So as you say, you are intelligent.  I and others I have encountered on this site have used this to explore how to achieve the dreams and aspirations that you are absolutely reasonable to have.

There are resources - the whole universe is full of them.

When feeling better that's maybe a time to use your intelligence to explore them?

hehe maybe consider tho' that the way to eat an elephant (apologies to elephants and others that I might offend with the metaphor) is one bit at a time.

Best wishes for turning trying times into more happiness!

    Thanks again.

    :-)

  • Thank you very much for your reply Phased it's always nice to know that others have had similar experiences pick themselves up and keep on trying, im begining to feel much better today, thanks.

  • It makes me feel the memories of similar physical experiences  and as it appears many have read this and not responded so I feel that I must.

It could humiliate myself and you by trying to come up with a simple answer that solves what you describe.

Instead I will say that the answer to how you feel is in understanding by me and the rest of this autistic community for how now.

    Best wishes
