Do differences makes us stronger?

When I walk or run through the fields, I often leave monkey nuts for the crows and magpies. Something always takes them, and it makes me feel warm inside.

There’s one crow with white feathers who often stays when I get close. I sometimes wonder if he’s had to become brave and resilient because of his difference.

I try to learn from nature, and it makes me think about people too. Do you think we become stronger or more resilient because of adversity?

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Going back to the OP, I think differences do make us stronger because we so often have to justify ourselves and choices more often. I get a lot of questions about why I'm veggie, and almost nobody likes the answer, that I can't digest meat and I'm lactose intolerant, it's quite funny watching people twist thier heads around the idea, the ones that still argue or outright acuse me of attention seeking and lying get told to go and do one.
