Questions questions questions

Does anyone struggle with being asked personal questions when meeting new people? Some people are like machine guns, firing off question after question and expecting answers, most of which are deeply personal? Then they get all shirty when you say you don't want to answer that, like they have a right to know your life history when they've just met you? I find people like this very judgemental too.

I feel like I've been assaulted and interogated, quite stunned, I'm quite a private person, I'm happy to share my thoughts and experiences most of the time, but in ways I can control without being rude.

I escape from such people as soon as I can and don't answer thier questions, but it's hard when they're the sister of a friend, or friend of a friend or something.

  • No one can ever make you answer a question. It is completely your decision if you want to answer.

People will tell you “you have to tell me because of this” or they will say “I had a jam donut yesterday, so you have to tell me the answer to my question”. Basically, I am telling you that people around you will try to manipulate you and they will start talking a load of rubbish, so that you will tell them what they want to know. You don’t owe anyone anything. End. Of. Story.

People always want to gain something, and never let them convince you that they have your best interests at heart. Be your own person, and make your mistakes, but never owe anyone anything. Stay clear of the toxic people, and keep fighting.

Push towards your goal, every day. Never stop.

always go forward. Always. No excuses. Keep pushing. Keep going. Always.
