I’ve undiagnosed, but my mother can hear me constantly stimming in my bedroom.
I do it in the garden as well. When I hear a neighbour, I stop doing it for a few minutes, then start again.

I stim daily and am currently working on not feeling embarrassed about using stim toys in public. I only started to use these relatively recently, and find them really helpful.
I was actually complimented on one of them by a nurse last weekend, during a hospital appointment, which (regardless of whether it was said genuinely or just politely / kindly) was really helpful in not making me feel embarrassed.
