I'm scared and worried

Quite frankly Donald Trump is terrifying me, he seems intent on wrecking the planet, bullying anyone and everyone, either through deportation or declaring that they must be either male or female, making it easier to sack federal staff, trade tariffs and he's a danger to world health by planing to withdraw from WHO and pausing funding for it.

I worry about whats next or who's next, will he start his military rampaging around the world annexing where he pleases in the name of America First and national security?

What will happen to the trans people, or those who genetically speaking dont' fit into binary genders?

He is really and genuinely scaring me to the point that I'm not sure I want to be around to see the results of his chaos.

  • He's nuts, and the people around him are grifters and fanatics, so I'm not too optimistic. I'm trying to reduce my exposure to him and people like Musk et al. It's a weird attention economy underpinning a lot of this stuff - removing myself from social media has been very helpful. I did read the news yesterday and saw a bit of the inauguration circus on TV, but I'm working hard at limiting exposure.

    I'm glad someone else saw this too, I wonder what excuses he will make, does it invalidate his presidency? I can understand if he's not Christian, I don't have a problem with that, I have a problem with his seeming dishonesty and that he wasn't called out over it.

    The only social media I do is here, but it's pretty hard to stay away from him without wrapping my head in a pillow.

    On the one hand he strikes out the convictions of and pardons rioters and insurections, even those who hurt people and with the other he declares drug cartels as terrorists. I dont' entirely disagree with him on that, but I don't think it will make much difference as law enforcement has plenty of powers to deal with cartels, I just find it totally inconsistent.

    I guess we can hope that not as much gas and oil extraction will happen as Trump wants because if the price goes down then the companies won't make the massive profits the want.
