I think many of us feel like outliers here .
Maybe that's the point.
It's trying to find common ground to use as means of interacting . Topics like ' employment' and 'university' are regular topics on many forums, understandably so, but ones that make me feel somewhat removed from others. Be it this forum,or any other forum.I struggle for things to say that aren't ground hog day perpetually revisited as each day is very much the same for me. Whether spoken or written I'm a very limited conversationalist. That being due to limited life experience , rather than low verbal ability..

I've lived in places like that. Sometimes it can be years before they notice the cat flap...
Cat's legally are not defined as pets, they are technically classed as free spirits that can and will go where they like.
But yeah, landlords have the whip edge right now it seems, so probably best not to.actually get a cat.
If you are on the ground floor though just fit a cat flap, buy a bag of dreamies, and wait to be "adopted"... Some cats "owners" lock them out of the house during the day or night, often such cats live in two houses...
I get that outlier feeling, though. I can understand why some people quit the forum too. It's a bit like a mirror at times.
Get yerself a cat!
I'm not allowed to have a pet where I live, unfortunately.
My digital skills are mediocre at best. I can do the very basic digital things, but nothing beyond that.
Get yerself a cat!
Always a new post to make when you otherwise would have nothing else to say...
There seem to be far fewer folk around in general on here.
I often feel the same as you, except for me it's my lack of digital skills, age just different interests to most on here that leave me feeling sidelined. I don't watch endless video's on you-tube, cartoons, disney, anime, I don't do photo's and I don't understand many of the acronyms, emoji's and stuff that others use.
I'm posting less and starting fewer new threads as they get so few replies, I feel most posters pass me by like ships in the night.
