I was speaking to my GP regarding waiting times for diagnosis and he mentioned about the "right to choose" , I emailed one of the providers a few questions and received a cut and paste response to check out their website, which didn't answer the questions I wanted answering.
They were very keen to mention that I could go privately and pay £2300 and be seen within 7 weeks.
From what I understand that these services are predominantly video calls and online questionnaires. I don't like video calls or phone calls and avoid them if at all possible.
Does anyone have a recommendation (if allowed) of providers as the NHS wait is starting to wear heavily, I've been on the list for over 2 years and it could be another 3 before I'm seen.
Thanks
I've posted several times on Skylight Psychiatry here:

Hope it's helpful for you.
Thanks, they weren't on the list my GP gave me. I've emailed them for a bit more info.
Your welcome, they have a step by step process for Right to Choose including a downloadable template letter for your GP and an AQ-10 test to backup your request.
