Accurate, humorous and quite an emotional read.
A few months on from Autism diagnosis yet there still seems to be a huge amount of processing to do.
I've read those too! How not to fit in was a bit outside my demographic, but still had lots of useful things to say to me.
Thanks for the recommendation - just downloaded it into my audiobooks. Still reading 'How to be You' by Ellie Middleton, so will get on to it after finishing that.
I have no idea nor knowledge of the book......but my experiential life tells me that your final sentence in the OP is golden, golden wisdom.

the latest 2 I have read is Why can’t I just enjoy things by Pierre Novelli and also How not to fit in by Jess Joy and Charlotte Mia.
Highly recommended both!
