Anger in ASD 9 year old

HELP ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE.

my 9 year old son has ASD/ADHD he is medicated but thinking of changing as it does not agree with him anymore. Anyways regardless my son is very violent and angry I have been hit so many times and they hurt, he rude, swears a lot, he like a ticking time bomb. This is effecting me mental health, he go to a specialist school but on a trial and I’m worried he won’t last and I’ll have him home again which I can’t cope with.

does anyone know if their any free therapy? Groups etc for him?

  • Where I live there is a local organisation which runs courses for parents and I went on some. It is run by parents so they understand what it is like. They were helpful in showing ways to support my son.

    I have Googled Surrey to see what might be on offer and it comes up with an NAS local group if you wanted to contact them.
