I see no evidence of peer reviewed research and just anecdotal claims of a massive conspiracy by the people who swore an oath to "do no harm".
Can you please add some context before posting this conspiract theory material in future?
I considered it, but decided not to.
I wanted people to have their own reaction to the bare information, not sell them what I think.
It's an unusual approach these days I'll grant you.
I think I know what you don't like, and I'll be happy to add an "Iain warning" in future if you as a courtesy to yourself, if you'd find it useful.

I do like anything claiming to be scientific research that affects the life of others to be reviewed by qualified professionals to a universally agreed set of principles (scientifc method) rather than using one study of a 3 year old to make a case.
If you prefer to post articles of pseudo science which are without any credentials of professionalism and with wild claims then please do add an "Iain warning" so I can ignore them.
Personally, I get a sense of someone. There aren't particular parameters that I am concious of when realising that I have started to feel like someone is a friend.....in this place, I can really only conceptualise the members here as "souls" rather than people.
Let's face it, I am a bit odd.
I've known you for ages and I consider you a friend. I trust and understand you. We are both men of a certain age from England. We PM quite regularly but you don't appear on my "friends list" coz all that type of stuff is WAY too close to social media for my taste. Yuk !! Most people with whom I PM regularly do not appear on my friend list.
There are various other souls in this place that I have never PM'ed but whom I sense as friends here too. By your mates Rik assessment......I reckon me and Roy would happily meet that test, and there are newer members here (always) with whom I feel an affinity.
We're autistic man !! This stuff of "friends" is all just agg and nonsense. That's why we struggle.
