I hear many stories here about how much people suffer due to their Autism, and seem to have perilous mental health because of it.
I believe there's more to the "mental Health crisis" than meets the eye.
I believe this because I used to see "Conspiracy Theory" as entertainment, akin to the X-Files but with the extra frisson that some of it occasionally turned out to be real.
I came across it, when I was researching an inexplicable physics phenomenon reported by competent people like pilots and policemen that although controversial, just reeked of a potential breakthrough in physics, that I at the time 20 years ago, though could make me rich enough to quickly own a house where I could once again listen to my top class stereo.
(Perhaps my stereo is the most respectable material thing that I own, it works really well, load of 1980's british electronics and decent quality components plus Ross Walker's innovative current dumping amiplfiers ad Wharfedale/ Leaks groundbreaking laser cone measuiring and production allied to the Leak 3090's lovely ribbon tweeter (that I can no longer hear of course) and Cambridge Audio's FOUR 1541 gold crown philips dacs, in the CD2 makes quite a decent noise, on the rock stuff, and if I had another room I've also got a pair of ESL57's which are kinda like listening to vocals through an open window, but I needed a couple of rooms of my own to set it up, and occasionally to be allowed to actually listen to an album from start to finish.
Hence, the need to get rich quick, and I ruled out all the other options (several sorts of crime, politics, hard work, the lottery, personal charisma) and stuck to the thing I am good at, figuring out stuff actually works.
Gravity for example, is definitely not what you think it is...
I've since found out from my own participation in what would appear to be a successful breakthough nuclear fusion project, that the money and fame thing simply does not work that way...
I've had a lot of communication with, and indeed was befriended by, the Daughter of a prominent Fifties scientist who was involved the "The quest for Anti-Gravity" in the fifties, and as a result learned a bit about how the U.S. government views such things and how "the knowledge protects itself" which is kinda real conspiracy fact IF I believed her lurid and fascinating story. (which eventually I came to do).
Sorry, gone off on a tangent there, but the point is: There's a lot more going on in the world than we low level mortals know about. There really is.
Super rich people for example. Have you ever had a windfall amount of money, and been foolish enough to tell all your friends? IF you have then you'll know how awkward that can mke things with some people. Being super rich, means it makes things awkward with pretty much everyone who isn't super rich. 'Cos that's what money DOES. IN large maounts it causes division between those who should/could be friends.
Super rich people HAVE to wall themselves off mostly from the likes of us. That's just going to create a "them and us" mentaility form their side, and that means they'll end up doing stuff that we are not privy to.
And guess what, they do!
So far you (sorry, US) little people are: threated (constantly in the back of your minds) by arbitrary extinction in a nuclear fireball, that thanks to the antics of both nato (originally) and belarus (recently) plus Nuclear submarines with at MOST five minutes warning, which recently they extended to your mobile phones...
You are also threated by climate change, rioters, the police rising lawlessness, destruction of the food production due to new nitrogen laws, A.I. & face recogition if you are in any way naughty or have something you'd rather keep private, and in this country we don't keep the old people around we ship em off to a "home"...
YOU've all been subjected to COVID, which was just chock full of the finest work money can buy when it comes to "psychological operations" to confuse you and make as many of us do a certain thing as could be managed, Scary!
MOST of us however put all of this to the back of our minds, because if we DONT PAY THAT RENT (or mortgage) WE WILL END UP ON THE STREET!!!
(Three exclamation marks, because if you think about it, that's just a nuts situation that only benefits a very small and secretive group of people atteh cost of everyoen elses peace of mind when it comes to "housing security").
IS IT ANY WONDER so many people have mental health crises?
SO some people have reached the ends of their tethers, and divide neatly into those who just crumble under the pressure and just keep trying to comply with a social system that currently promises that you will "own nothing and be happy" as you live in your "fifteen miinute cities" being closely observed and those who naturally enough want to REBEL.
Do any of you see things the same way?
