It's funny the effect that certain words can have on us, and I don't mean 'funny' in a ha-ha kind of way. I have a phobia of snakes, to the extent that I don't really like seeing or saying the word.
Tum*y is a word that I hate, because when I was younger and I had stomach-aches, the adults who lacked-understanding of the touch-sensitivity, used to rub and caress my stomach which made me very-uncomfortable.
The trigger for them to do that was the word Tum*y, so I learned to distance myself and be disgusted by that kind of language, now I can’t even look at the word and not think ‘torture’.
