  • To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
  • To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

Let down and ignored

Hi anyone else have this problem.  18 months in still waiting for assessment.  Parents said they knew but never said anything until now. Employer ignoring me, friends what friends. People that know me ignore me for support. Nothing at all just daily struggle at moment.

  • Hello Richard, i'm sorry you are finding things a struggle, but the community here is a great source of information and help if you want to use it.

    You can only use 'right to choose' NHS scheme after a GP referal - just speak to your GP and tell them you want use use the scheme.


    You do not have to pay with right to choose, it comes from your GP funding.

    There is some infor on the Psychiatry-uk site about how it works.

    The diagnosis info pages here may be worth a read if you would like to find out more about the diagnosis process, etc.:
