I'm not going to sugar coat it, I didn't have a mum I had an abuser, and if it weren't for other ladies being great women role models in my developing years this day would mean next to sweet F A.
So 
here's to all of us who didn't have mums for whatever reason, and to the teachers, carers, step-parents, etc who mothered us in her place.
