Imagining my neighbour's dog was with me in bed

If that had been me, I think I would have felt rather disappointed at discovering I had imagined it. Hardly surprising in my case because I've always wanted a dog. 

TBH I have a dog shaped hole left in my heart where I lost one due to old age many years ago, but my new landlord doesn't allow furry pets, I do sometimes still see "outlines" of dogs out of the corner of my vision sometimes but I know this is as likely an emotion driven halucination as a ghost. Although I am open to believing in them as I have touched them by accident causing them to pop like soap bubbles and caused a physically felt static shock to my finger, the visible light spark of which was witnessed by a 3rd party who couldn't see the outline but did see the spark of the pop in mid air. And ghost or not that event has massively opened our minds to the possiibility of either supernatural forces or a theory of interactive parallel universe overlap.

Although I have never had a dog, I understand that dog-shaped hole. When I was a baby, my paternal grandparents owned a gorgeous dog with the most wonderful temperament. My grandad would sit with me cradled in one arm, and the dog cradled in the other. It died when I was about 6 or 7 years old, but more than 40 years later I really miss that dog and continue to grieve for him.

I think it's sad that so many landlords don't allow pets, especially as it's been proven that pets can be beneficial for one's physical and emotional well-being.
