My mug

I want to cry. My mum has smashed my mug. Now I can’t drink! She says that I have plenty of pig mugs but she doesn’t understand that they live in my room, they aren’t for drinking from. My mug to drink from was in the kitchen cupboard but it’s not anymore because she smashed it and then put it in the bin!!! She put my mug in the bin! That’s the mug I drink from and have done for like 4 years! I tried to find it online but I can’t find it so now I don’t know what to do because that’s my mug! She thinks I’m being stupid but I’m not, that’s the mug that I drink from and now everything is all wrong

  • I’m very sorry to hear this and of the distress that goes with it. I can entirely relate the the idea of things ‘feeling wrong’ now. I have a hierarchy of mugs and an order I use them in. It’s something that no one around me is aware of, but I very much am. When that order is broken, everything feels a bit off. I’m the same with parking spaces. In time, when you’re ready to, you’ll come up with a plan that works best for you. But for now, processing isn’t a bad thing in my eyes.
