My mug

I want to cry. My mum has smashed my mug. Now I can’t drink! She says that I have plenty of pig mugs but she doesn’t understand that they live in my room, they aren’t for drinking from. My mug to drink from was in the kitchen cupboard but it’s not anymore because she smashed it and then put it in the bin!!! She put my mug in the bin! That’s the mug I drink from and have done for like 4 years! I tried to find it online but I can’t find it so now I don’t know what to do because that’s my mug! She thinks I’m being stupid but I’m not, that’s the mug that I drink from and now everything is all wrong

  • Awwww I understand that feeling. I had a similar reaction when someone (not naming names) thought they would be "helpful" by cutting up my oldest duvet cover "for cleaning rags", still seething about that a little bit years later because I deliberately never told anyone I had a fave duvet cover "so as not to seem weird" and then this happens without me even being consulted.
Now if I have a fave thing I tell everyone immediately, and yes seem weird for doing so, but it's not worth taking the chance, because I cannot trust people to include me in their arrogant and short sighted decisions about what I "need". (Yh you can tell I'm still angry lol.)
