Hi! Just wanted to update everyone on my mental health appointment this morning.
They were early, better for me as it means less time for me to sit and worry about things. It actually went well, better than I thought it would anyway. Really nice one of the women said to me remember you don't have to make eye contact if it makes you uncomfortable. So understanding, that settled me calmer straight away.
Appointment took about an hour, I did need five mins for some air outside, that meant I didn't meltdown. They suggested I go back in to hospital. I have agreed as they say that in hospital they can watch me, look after me and adjust my medication. They think being in a safe environment will be best at the moment and it means I can have support straight away if needed. So I think they are right with that and hopefully with my meds adjusted I can be back home in a few days.
I am allowed my phone, so means I can pop in here and chat in the posts with you guys and I can also listen to YouTube so that's not to bad.
Oh and lastly they want to set up community support as well. I'm not totally sure what that will be but it could be a community nurse who comes to see me daily to make sure I'm doing ok. I'm not entirely sure yet though so I think that will be discussed later.
