Our special interest can take unusual forms and they aren't always understood by others.
To be fair this could be a behaviour that Prevent might get worried about, rightly so, for some other people, for whom this is not an autistic 'special interest', but indicative of criminal intent. But if it's just an interest that's grabbed you, don't worry about it. You aren't going to become a criminal.
Anyway the public at large does have a fascination with serious crime, you aren't that unusual in that respect. Just look at how many documentaries there are about these subjects on TV. It's probably just the degree of fascination that's may be unusual and to fo with your autism.
I talk about serial killers and terrorists too much. Some people even thought that I might plan to commit crimes in the future, just because I talk about crimes too much. It's confusing, because I am innocent.
