How people who do good suffer the worse

As a person who has been dealing with a lot I realized we all deal with a lot of issues but some in particular try to do good to try to see that they should be in good hands but end up being put through the worse. As a person dealing with self hate(depression and insecurities ) because of my actions I feel as though I deserve everything bad coming my way but I see people who are good and never did wrong to an extent who end up gone because they couldn’t bare the life they lived, but the bad can? it’s like this world is surviving evil

  • The idea of 'deserving' a thing used to imply well-earned. But the term has taken on a bit more of a reckless and creepy version of Entitlement. It's a bit of a warped idea that can limit how we value others due to how we value ourselves. Devaluation of humans in general is a thing which happens in subtle ways and we can pick up those cues.

Learning to see both the band and good in the world around is hard. Learning to understand my inherent self-worth in a cruel world is another.

Somehow we need to get beyond ourselves to value our 'souls'. This might be a different path for everyone. As a human you are worth-while. Choices you make can be good or bad and have consequence. You can also be in the right situation and experience the randomness of reality, which has no judgement. The biblical expression my father used to use is that "it rains on the just and the unjust". Become the person you envision yourself to be.
